Our Vision

'Thuruna’, an aboriginal word, means ‘Together by the Sea’.
As the sea comes together with the land in all its spectacular moods and beauty, Thuruna Campsite gives all people the opportunity to meet God in just as many and varied, spectacular and beautiful ways.

Mission Statement

We of the Management Committee, would like to encourage this by

Retaining the environment and ambience so that people can come, relax and appreciate this special place and be inspired by God’s creation
To encourage fellowship and interaction with each other
To encourage evangelism, teaching and training in the Word of God.
